ZeusSEO ("we," "us," "our") operates a SaaS platform for Google Business Profile management and local SEO. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2.1 Information you provide
Account data: name, email address, company name, billing details (processed by Paddle — we never store card numbers). Profile preferences and settings you configure.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
Usage data: pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration, browser type, IP address, device type. Error logs and diagnostic data to maintain Service stability.
2.3 Data from third-party integrations
When you connect Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics, we receive OAuth tokens and the data those APIs return (location info, search queries, traffic metrics). We store this data in your account to power the Service features. You control which integrations are active and can revoke access at any time.
We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service; (b) process payments and send billing communications; (c) respond to support requests; (d) send product updates and security notices (you can opt out of marketing emails); (e) detect fraud and enforce our Terms of Service; (f) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without explicit consent.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your data under the following legal bases: (a) Contract — to perform our agreement with you; (b) Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention, security, and product improvement; (c) Consent — for marketing emails and optional features; (d) Legal obligation — for tax and regulatory compliance.
We share your data only with: (a) Supabase — our database and authentication provider, hosted in the US with SOC 2 compliance; (b) Paddle — payment processing, acting as Merchant of Record; (c) Vercel — our hosting platform; (d) Google APIs — to enable integrations you authorize; (e) law enforcement or regulators when required by law.
All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, we retain data for 90 days to allow re-activation, then delete it except where longer retention is required by law (e.g., financial records: 7 years). Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@zeusseo.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (anonymized) to understand how the Service is used. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, row-level security in our database, and regular security reviews. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take all reasonable precautions.
Your data may be stored and processed in the United States. If you are located outside the US, by using the Service you consent to transfer of your data to the US. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA.
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at legal@zeusseo.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent update.
